Born and raised in Sierra Valley, Wendy Bergstrom is the mother of two Loyalton High School graduates—her daughters, Niecea & Sequoia— and a micro pig named Lincoln. She is passionate about quality education and providing opportunities for all students to reach for their dreams and has been part of the Foundation since its inception—first as a parent volunteer and now as a community member—active in fundraising and donor care.
When she’s not at work, Wendy enjoys gardening, square dancing, and camping with her husband, Don. Forever a native to the valley, she truly celebrates the natural beauty of the area and explores it whenever possible!
