The Sierra Schools Foundation is a non-profit local education foundation run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors made up of dedicated parents, school staff, and community members.  Strong supporters of our rural schools, teachers, and students, every member believes in the power of an excellent and equitable public school education for rural youth.  Central to our vision is the understanding that strong public schools and rural economic development and cultural sustainability are not mutually exclusive, but in fact go hand in hand in building healthy communities.
